“I wanted to breathe new life into something that was both morally and technically outdated – the Jawa motorcycle. I brought together skilled masters from several crafts who, under normal circumstances, would probably never have met on a single project. They stepped out of their comfort zones, worked on a shared creation, and allowed me to watch them closely as they worked.”

During the Designblok 2020 festival, Jan Plecháč prepared the exhibition Passion, into which he poured his enthusiasm for motorcycles. In a single unique piece, the craftsmanship of a team of motorcycle builders, a saddler, a grinder, as well as a jeweler and an illustrator came together. Together, they transformed a written-off old machine into a jewel.
